HIV is known as (Human immunodeficiency virus) this is the virus that causes AIDS ( Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). HIV main target is the immune system; he is destroying white blood cell that helps to our body fight all the infections and disease. You can be 100% sure that you have an HIV if you go and do a medical test. There are some symptoms to look for that could be warning signs that you may have an infection.

According to some research, the first signs can show up within one or two months after transmission, but in some cases the earliest they can be seen two weeks after exposure. This is very important to know HIV symptoms for common illnesses. When you talk to your doctor always testing for HIV will be one of the open options.

Sometimes lack of signs can be up to 10 years. But this doesn`t mean that virus is gone. This virus can progress to stage 3 even if no signs or symptoms are present. That`s why it`s so important to get tested.

Fever

In the early stages of HIV fever is the most common sign, sometimes fever can last form one to 5 weeks. More than 85% of HIV subjects reported that they have a fever. This can be a good sign after all because your system is still fighting and it`s not completely shut down.

Night Sweats

Most of the time night sweats are going along with fever. If you have several nights whit this symptom, you should see a doctor. This can be so severe that they soak the pajamas and bedsheets. People who experience this say its impossible to sleep through.

Sore Throat

This may be the earliest sign of HIV present in our body. Depends it can be present later in the disease as the infection individuals immune system becomes compromised. We know that a sore throat can be caused by thrush in the mouth or esophagus. But chronic throat problems should be checked by your family doctor. 

Body Pain

Body pain symptom can occur like the flu in early stages. The swollen lymph nodes can cause this, or form rheumatic illnesses. This disease affects muscles and joints of our body and causing inflammation. 

Swollen Glands in the neck armpits or groin

This doesn`t happen to everyone who has primary HIV, but among those who have symptoms, it`s common one. Lymph nodes in the neck tend to swell more than those in armpits or groin with an HIV infection. This can also be the cause of more infection like cold or flu, so we highly recommend to visit your family doctor.
