These bone formations are located at the joint which is crucial for normal walking. If you have bunions most of your weight will be positioned on it and it is really unpleasant condition.
Additionally, friction of bunion with your shoe can cause calluses on your skin.
Causes
First symptoms of bunions appear in the early adulthood. As we getting older it is more problematic. According to the doctors it can be caused as result of genetic predispositions or they can be developed together with arthritis.
Women are more prone to this condition, because of the tight shoes and high heels.
Symptoms
Inspect your foot and focus to the base of your big toe. If there is bony bump on the outher side of the big toe joint, then you probably have a bunion. It may sometimes turn red, swell, hurt, and feel tender to the touch. Over time, it may also become shiny and feel warm when you touch it.
Here’s a simple, effective recipe to get rid of bunions:
Boil 10 oz (or 300 ml) of fresh water and pour it over a handful of crushed bay leaves (10-15 bay leaves). Leave it to cool down for 5 minutes and pour the tea in a thermos. Next day strain the tea and drink the tea on regular intervals during the day, not all at once.
Always prepare fresh drink in the morning and repeat this treatment for three days. Repeat the treatment after a week.
This tea will cause frequent urination. But don’t worry it’s normal and healthy. Your salt deposits will start dissolving and you will feel much better.
The first sign of improvement will be noticed after 10 days. The bay leaf treatment should last for 2 months and your bunions will eventually disappear.
